You're going to have to forgive me. I consider NJ as south of NYS. We were in the Morristown and Whippany areas which would be west of NYC.

Seeing I am not a gambler I was to AC once 25 years ago so AC didn't register on the radar.. Chances are now I would take the high speed ferry out of Orient and head to Mohegan Sun if I got the itch and wanted to have a night away. Much closer to home.

You know you live on Long Island when you look up a home price heat map only to be disappointed that it only goes up to $600,000

I am not saying you have to like AC but it is one of a few locations in NJ worth mentioning I am not a gambler but AC offers this experience of jumpingbfrom casino to casiin and some good shows ans fights from time to time. And there is Cape May.

Plus they have those unbelievable tomaros in south Jersey. Man, straight from the farmers, wholefoods doesn't compare

Long Islanders need to get over themselves!! LI is NOT the end all, be all! I, thankfully, did not grow up on LI. We moved a few years ago and I can't wait to move off the island. What a bunch of whining brats! Both the parents and the kids!
OBH...let me guess...you will respond because you can't help yourself.
See ya!

You gave me the giggles -- the tomato remark reminded me of the Seinfeld 'Hamptons Tomatoes' episode

Which leads to:
You know you're from LI when you can relate to silly Seinfeld trivia

You know you're from Long Island when you're in your mid 20's - mid 30's, drive a brand new bmw/mercedes, but still live with your mom and dad.
