that's gonna be a problem. Since NO place in America is job friendly these days. I would take what ever skills and hobbies you have them make you income. Use your creative juices to find that inner Entrepreneur

I have lived in LA all my life. And, I started Le Cordon Bleu (LCB) this January in the Diploma program at the Hollywood campus.

As far as the job thing goes, yeah it's tough. There is a program offered thru LCB called One-Time-Events where you work random events around the city primarily with Wolfgang Pucks team plating and preping . You do get paid and your insurance is covered through LCB is something goes wrong. The OTE arent a regular thing and they usually only pay 10hr but usually 7-10hrs work and they happen pretty frequent. I wouldn't count on them for rent $ but theyre a good source of extra cash.

As as far as commuting to school....apparently the other posters here havent thought that out. or what schedule you are on be it A, B, C. it makes a REAL big difference.

email me back to get faster replies. i just happened to stumble across this post and thought i'd help but dont check here regularly.

And the learning curve at LCB is steep. be able to live in an area where you can practice your dishes when you get home. it does help.
