I like noodles too..just not for every meal. I think I'd go crazy. I could probably save a lot of money if I didn't enjoy diversity of food.

Their cars of choice for racing are Honda's and Acura's...and in North OC and the SGV it isn't uncommon to see these decked out Honda's for racing.
I do not believe riced cars have been in vogue for at least a decade. In the 90's and early 2000's, there were far more Hondas with coffee can exhausts, jumbo spoilers, fake Type R badges, giant graphics with Japanese characters, etc.

However, after people began making light of them (Bryan's Rice-Boy Page), they quickly fell out of fashion, and now people are being more subtle and practical with their mods, or simply purchasing cars that come juiced directly from the factory.

I think they just fell out of favor because people that are into trendy things or fads eventually go onto something else. That's true with cars with clothes and everything else.

Just like driving around in one of those 'modded' out Hondas or Acuras back in the day might of looked cool...now it could look passe or just ridiculous.

I think with cars people were just flashier back in the day, the economy was also better back then too for the most part...or people could more easily get loans .

Remember spinners and those huge rims on cars?? LOL .

I remember there was even a company that would advertise on the radio that would RENT spinners!....Now that's pretty sad.

And part of it is that manufacturers are offering cars that are already modded quite a bit beyond the base model, so it's really a waste of time to modify a base model of anything when for less money a person can simply buy the juiced version of any particular model.

True , good point. These days there definitely are a lot more " trims " being offered by the manufacturers . Less need to buy aftermarket parts . They realized what was happening and positioned themselves to serve the consumers wants .
