I am in Tech Sales. Formerly Production Accounting.

Might be changing jobs again and going into distribution. The possibilities for me in LA are endless and I love it! I've lived in New York and Chicago but I'm here to stay and have no plans on leaving because I've made such a great life for myself out here.

I think even if someone is liberal they should find that attitude alarming.

Crime is also up due to Prop 47
An explosion of California property crimes

Being soft on crime turned out to be a bad idea.

In addition to property crimes, violent crimes are also on the rise , way up.

Murders in Compton (not part of city of L.A..but in L.A County) have TRIPLED
Killings in Compton have tripled this year, rattling nerves and testing a key anti-crime initiative - LA Times
Hi jm - Yeah, isn't Garcetti a real gem? I could not believe what was coming out of his mouth about the felons. We need to help them...yada yada yada. I just do not understand his mindset...Prop 47 has really messed things up for our communities. They really misinformed people ....

Hate to see Compton end up being another Chicago problem. My heart goes out to the people in Compton who are trying to change things - keep the gangs out etc. I don't know, the ELITE in Sacramento are doing NOTHING but passing stupid legislation and creating more burdens on Californians.

Soft on crime - yep not a good idea after all. Every day a car is being burglarized in Hawthorne-Wiseburn-Del Aire- HollyGlen but this is happening all over. Would my husband and I pack up and leave? No, his job is here and we have too much invested right now. We are both born and raised in California. This is our home. We stay and fight on. You invest in the best security/surveillance cameras and hope you keep the criminals away.
