That's great. It's also not at all what we recommended you do, so I'm not sure why this is your response to a message that has nothing to do with it.

Well I thought you wanted me to look through the list and apply that's what I've been doing.

No, that's not what I recommended. I would never tell you to apply for a secured credit card from a bank I have never heard about. I actually provided some rather concrete details, throughout both your threads about what you need to do and you did none of it. So I'm done tilting at this particular windmill. Anyone else fancy a go?

Definitely a waste of time imo. Poster seems to have serious issues probably needs help/advice from psych and financial professionals.

I read online that it's best for people who have no credit to apply for a secured credit card. I called the bank and they are located in New Jersey. Yes I did apply for the student credit card but they didn't approve me. I've been applying for several of the cards listed I thought it made since if I applied for a credit card that said there wasn't a credit check/no credit needed since I don't have credit. I'm not sure what you mean by "unknown" as the bank does have several locations. I've also read several reviews about the bank. I was actually happy when they said I was approved since I had been denied by the others.

I believe he just meant the bank is not a well-known one that most people would recognize.

Yes I understand what he's saying Chase is my main bank the one that I go to. I called and asked them if they had secured credit cards and they told me they didn't. I'm hesitant about going into a branch to ask because I don't know if they will approve me. Then what will happen then? I would rather have one with them if I could. None of the credits card listed on the site he gave me is through chase. Most of them are from unknown banks or either Capital One which I've already applied for a Credit Card with them and they didn't approve me. All of these with Chase said I would need excellent credit http://www.creditcards.com/Chase.php. I'm actually surprised that the first bank approved me for a credit card.

I never said that. But you clearly have issues with your parents or you wouldn't be in this situation.

Yes I do have issues with them being overprotective and not letting me travel.
