Don't get it? When was illegal made legal? Why is there even this discussion. If your illegal get the hell out. (But keep a few of them to feed the lazy Americans that can't do the backbreaking harvest work.)

Many of the Latin-Americans doing harvesting are in the country legally via a guest worker program.

In Los Angeles, 1 in 10 residents is an illegal immigrant, study says - CSMonitor.com
10%! (I suspect it isn't that high now.)

Ultimately Garcetti probably will be forced to drop public resistance to deportation of recent (past 5 years?) illegal immigrants. Pollsters need to start asking questions about public opinion on specifics like that.

I bet I'm not the only reader here who would love to read your explanation as to how this would be the case.

More persons, even crammed together, increases demand...oh so complicated. I know lefties have trouble with economics though.

Oh not so simple. Are you really suggesting that population will go down for more than a minute if all illegals leave? Tell me more.

Are leftists dense? Who said anything about deporting all persons? We said we want a true, real, functional border that is secure. When that is done, then we can talk about humanitarian concerns. And when we get to those humanitarian actions, we will want to see proof that the person has been here a long while so your newcomers had better leave.

This comment of yours is, once again, common for you, non-sequiturial to that which it follows.

That pointed out, I, like many on every facet of this issue of illegals and border security, also support a secure border with a truly functioning immigration system. That's not at issue.

Now then, back to how deporting illegals will result in higher real estate inventory at lower costs?

Not even worth of my time to respond as you do not understand supply and demand.
