People are crazy. I saw video of people with entire carts full of toilet paper! How much toilet paper do people really expect to use?! I have extra, sure, but I don't have 400 rolls. I've always said, though, that the veneer of civilization is very thin. And on that note, here is a good song for when you're foraging for toilet paper:

I always try to have extra TP in the house and bought a little extra last week when I shopped. I probably have way too much food right now though since my son got panicked and wanted to see our the pantry full. Worst case I'll be extra generous to the Scouts when they do their canned food drive in November.

The media has news of people being on lock down for two weeks on a loop (Italy) and people try and prepare for being locked down for two weeks. Then the media is mentioning for everyone to be ready to be locked down for two weeks. How the hell is that selfish?

It's amazing how many aren't, though....yet those same people have stocked up for this.

Yes I have read that eventually every one will be infected, just at a very minimal Level. Most likely the person will not even know they have corona, they will just think it's a cold. Unless you totally stay home and don't touch anything in the public, you will get it. Whether or not you survive is another story.

It's definitely crazy. I went to Costco ... well attempted to as I was just going to get some protein bars ... this weekend, but settled for just getting some gas then leaving after I couldn't even get a park it was so crowded. I'll be glad when this blows over.

Los Angeles is ground zero for ridiculous behavior in many ways, but this run on stuff is a result of non-stop panic coverage from the news media.
