We could have been off of lockdown a month ago if the Private Pyles out there could simply do what they were supposed to do and stop screwing up life for the rest of us.

Pure speculation. No place has been completely locked down and no place ever will. 20% of workers and businesses are "essential" and you'll never shut down everything.

Who is "we"? I certainly hope you're not referring to the people who are not generating enough income to pay their overhead and face losing everything they own, and want to get through this as soon as possible, but are being forced to wait even longer under lockdown because some people don't care that they're committing murder with their mouth exhaust.

I am referring to all of the people that you're complaining about not following the lockdown

I can say it. And I did. And what I said is 100% correct.

The point is that you're wrong - we would not have been off lockdown a month ago (especially since the lockdown has only been six weeks max) if those people had stayed home because there were lots who could not stay home, and you're mayor is stringing your people along because there is and always will be an "essential" segment out there he can say that indefinitely.

People have had enough of being strung along. Any state or city that wants to extend lockdowns are going to have to define the end game. No more "one more month then we'll see" without defining exactly what they expect to see.

Exactly. The mayor is just playing childish games with us. "Naughty, naughty! You broke the rules so we have to start ALL OVER from the beginning!" Most people are too smart to keep falling for that.

No amount of "lockdown" ("lockdown" in quotes because obviously large numbers of people have been going out every day since it started, because they HAVE TO) is going to make or ever would have made the virus "go away."

You are taking this way too far and getting so worked up it's scary. People are "murdering" others by breathing?

Sixty-one L.A. residents died of Covid-19 just today. And why? Because some people just couldn't stay at home. How pathetic.

Some people like grocery store workers, police officers, firemen, sanitation workers, utility crew, health care workers, and employees of many other essential services.
