Wow, I missed a lot yesterday! We spent the day getting ready for DH's graduation and then all evening at the event. It was a LONG day, but it was nice. He was so nervous giving his speech, but it was good. I think that was the longest 5 minutes of his life! Not much of a public speaker.

I'm just so glad the 9 months of classes are over. Maybe I won't feel like a single parent so much anymore.

Now, I'm off to get caught up on all that I missed!

Yesterday, we moved four of our chicken coops, from their summer locations, to their wintering over location. That was a big job and we just were finishing as it got dark.

I was working on rigging a set of pulleys up in a tree, to help with butchering Porky today, when DW started tearing apart the chicken coops. I was not thinking of doing both projects on one day. Otherwise we should have gotten started much sooner.

Anyway, today should be much easier, just dress Porky, remove his hair, let him drain and cool.

Tomorrow we cut and wrap.

KAF - our kitchen table has a huge pile of food on it. Do you want some?

Last edited by Submariner; 11-10-2007 at 08:31 AM.. Reason: spell checker twisted "wrap" into "warp"

Hey there. Yes, I got pics, but the lighting was bad, so they didn't turn out great, but he got a DVD of pics that someone put together of some of their training days. It was pretty cool watching them attack burning cars, repell off the side of buildings and such. He's proud!

In the group shot below, he's the end on the ground far right screen. He'd be the handsome one!

Wow, Mollysmiles you have 225 posts in this thread alone. Elcarim is closing in with 202, and Forest is third with 85. I barely break into the top 15 with a grand total if 15, oops 16 with this post.

How's that for being off topic
