It's just unreal to see that we are 45 degrees warmer here than you are up there! Is there anywhere hotter?

Just came back from town and I've got 26 at my place and dropping like a rock now that it is pitch black outside.

It's been highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s for a week... looks like that for next week too, except for a threat of low 70s mid-week. I've had to break out the propane heaters a bit now and then and am glad for the furry organic heaters on the bed at night...

the chili in the crock pot will be good tonight.

star, the chili sounds good! How cold does it get in your part of NC in the winter? I've only ever been there in the late summer and in the mid fall

Well, I tend to keep out of politics, mind my own business and lead a happy, busy life. Economy wise, its pretty much the same as anywhere, prices on everything keep going up, salaries and working wages crawl up.

I usually hang around Community Chat / Other topics, Mass. bores me. Thanks for the welcome Molly, Mesina! I'll familiarize myself by reading around here in the Maine forums over the next couple days.
