Update from SantaFeSister - the other sister!
The procedure went well today. It was quick and easy. Now the wait. I'm sure it will take a day or two to know how well it turned out this time. Once they know for sure, they'll be scheduling the other eye procedure.

Now, this is rediculous! The IRS spends HOW MUCH to mail letters telling us all that we're getting a tax rebate check - also to be mailed out in two months?

Too bad they didn't choose to reallocate those funds to help feed some of our starving families since the news and media has more than sufficiently covered notifying the public of this windfall.

The procedure went well today. It was quick and easy. Now the wait. I'm sure it will take a day or two to know how well it turned out this time. Once they know for sure, they'll be scheduling the other eye procedure.
