Anyone else get any snow this weekend? We got about six inches at my house in Allegany County.

Here in Southern Howard County, it started as only rain for the first part of the day, then we had BIG splatty snow-drops for awhile. Now it sounds like sleet. Good thing Trick-or-Treat isn't tonight!

It was snowing in Frostburg for the big game last night and I assume they got a large amount. Cumberland had our normal smaller amount, rain until dawn, then pretty heavy snow, probably 5-6 fell, but only about 2 or so actually laid.

Really! They are saying on the news that Cumberland got 14". We had thought about driving up for the day - I like how it gets decorated in the shopping area for Fall.

Not even close. The snow has already melted away. Frostburg and parts west got more (higher elevation) but it too is fading fast.

Hmm... just goes to show how accurate the weather is. Do you by chance know if it's still decorated there (not sure what the area is called) in Nov.?

I don't think the downtown is decorated for Christmas yet. I think we wait until after highschool football season for the holiday season. All the decorations now is Fort Hill and Allegany High based and will be until they win the state title, or are knocked out of the playoffs.
