Streets in DT Boston are quite peaceful right now. Snow and wind aren't too bad (yet). No cars/cabs/buses. Just a few folks walking around. I could get used to this.

That is one thing I love about snow storms - it makes usually busy streets eerily quiet and peaceful!

Probably shovel a little bit at a time so that you don't end up shoveling 2 feet all at once. At least make a path for yourself. It will freeze overnight and there will be more tomorrow so anything you can get rid of now is for the best.

Hard to imagine a fairly big city like Boston being closed down. My hubby said Boston is in Lock down!

I was looking at the traffic cams it's pretty weird to not see any cars on the road.

Again i hope everyone stays safe and warm. Hope you all have a big pile of blankets :-)

shovel periodically till you go to bed tonite. The worst is overnite and early morning, so make a clear path and keep shovelling the same area over and over again every 2-3 hours till you go to bed. If estimates are correct you are going to get abt 15 inches overnite....

Glad that I stayed in michigan before I moved to texas and then from there to here. Wish I was in texas :-)
