Makes sense. Scary.

I think you may be a bit off in your assumption. Really what the OP is describing is Floridaization which has reached all the way up the east coast as far as CT and is now starting to infiltrate MA.

I'm still moving to Canada either way.

+1.

Plus, as I'm convinced the warming will continue, I'm thinking more northern latitudes will suit me better.

Nah! Heading north to Maine or Canada will do nothing. To reduce or end "Connecticutization", each resident of this state must be mandated by the government to dig a three feet deep hole in the ground, and bury a half emptied glass milk bottle...upside down with the cap off so the remaining milk slowly seeps into the soil. This will end "Connecticutization" and restore balance to the New England area. Every resident in the Commonwealth must do this at exactly 4:15 am on July 8th, 2014, rain or shine, for the process to be successful. No one can be exempt from this. Moving to Maine or Maple Leaf country won't solve the problem.

In the mean time, Happy July 4th!

To each their own........ the only problems I'm looking to solve are those within reach of what I can personally control.

Yes, I hear they're strict about immigration. MA is pretty crowded in some areas near Boston and that metrowest area--is that what the OP was referring to? I still want to know.

The delawarification of Massachusetts is simply intolerable.

We need to ohioify big time, and add a touch of Hawaiinilization to return to our roots.

And don't even talk to me about nebraskafication.

I think it could use a bit of Vermontization. Especially in the hot summer.
