In most civilized countries such way of keeping a deadly weapon is prohibited by the law, and in those countries we don't hear about weekly mass murders or children getting killed or killing their parents with such easily accessible weapon.

But, that's in civilized countries... US is so young, it has loooooong way to go to that civilized level.

Famous last words.

For example, Christy Sheats was a gun enthusiast in Texas who gunned down her two daughters.

Christy Sheats had expressed support on Facebook for her right to carry a semi-automatic handgun recently, writing: "It would be horribly tragic if my ability to protect myself or my family were to be taken away, but that's exactly what Democrats are determined to do by banning semi-automatic handguns."

Go for it, there is about a 50% chance you'll off yourself with it since it is mostly old munitions on the market. Have fun.

Most mass murders are from handguns. Ban semi's and there will be one with a pump shotty or lever action then you can complain about those next.

This do it for the babies lunacy is completely illogical and laced with oestrogen.

Obviously I was joking. Most sane people understand that those are perfectly reasonably infringed arms, as are stinger missiles, etc

Hopefully SCOTUS will shift to a more reasonable place in the future with a more sane reading of the 2nd amendment. The only downside will be loss of revenue from Pittman Robertson.

Condolences to freedom loving people in Mass. Governor Baker should defund the AG's office, as executive of the state (I believe under Mass law) he can decide how much money to give to the AG office which is an executive office.

I think this will just cause more Mass residents to move to more friendly gun states like NH and VT. If you can commute to Mass from those places it's worth voting with your dollars as they say.

These gun laws are illegal under the constitution and several federal court rulings. The SCOTUS really needs to take this issue up and settle it after the elections.

Interesting....no guns here so it should be a utopia of unicorns and cotton candy, yet they are using the same rhetoric for knives. Hmmmm
