Elizabeth Warren came out today to let everyone know that she is putting together a team to look at her chances of becoming the nominee for President in 2020.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/31/u...ouncement.html

I thought she told us during the election that she was not going to run for President and that her focus was on Massachusetts and fighting for the people of our fine state and those that live on the ragged edge of middle class... What happened? Running for President will take her away from her duties to the state. It just seems wrong to go for a job and a few months later look into quitting

Somewhere out there Geoff Diehl is saying "I told you so".

What do you think? Should she stand by the people of Mass or should she leave us behind to hit the campaign trail?

No surprise with Pocahontas. I'm guessing Crooked will soon follow.

The one great advantage in running against overgrown children (and that includes most Democrats and all"Progressives") is that it isn't long before the fighting in the sandbox starts.

I guess she won't be focusing 100% of her energy in MA instead of on the presidency as she promised in response to Geoff Diehl's attack ads.

Cause we've had so many female presidents .

Anyway, I don't think she'll win the nomination. I think the democratic field will be more crowded then it was the last time around.

Might be nice to not have racist anti-Native American comments here.

I'm not sure I saw anything racist but a lot of childish name calling that diminishes what the person is trying to say.

I'm not for Warren as she is too far out there. Keep your sanctuary cities to yourself; we don't need more. Keep all your radical ideas. The country needs someone who will bring people together and be more moderate. A nice, pleasant person who puts country first, not trivial ideas. Someone who will get behind the important issues like universal health care and guarding our borders. Someone who supports the middle class, not just rust belt or some other segment. We don't need anyone who is polarizing.
