And yeah, most people don't die from it (at least during the acute infection), but many end up with dementia, heart disease, diabetes, dvt/pulmonary embolism from covid and on and on.
Then they should stay home. What are your solutions?

Cruises were never my favorite way to travel. Sure there's as much mediocre food as you want to shove in your mouth, you can sign up for unlimited drinks, and there's some fun stuff to do on the boats but it was just never my thing. Plus, IMO these boats are like floating petri dishes. I've seen on the news way too many instances of diseases breaking out on cruise ships so . . . that's a big "no thanks" from me.

Good. Please pass it on to others because due to extreme popularity prices are getting higher and higher again. We don’t cruise on boats though. Ships. Value (especially comparing to everything after pandemic) is tough to beat.

I still see people wear masks. in the car alone in the supermarket and public transit when i wanted to avoid driving in Boston because of the summer tunnel fiasco.

i don't get coronavirus but if i went on a cruise I bet I would be the first to get norovirus any sickness with blowing ass I will get. in fact I have gotten norovirus you puke and get diarrhea at the same time. Immodium has saved me many times. though I'm lucky i don't have crohns or ibs knock on wood. you gain weight on cruises too many food temptations. i have heard of people gaining discusting amount of weight. i just lost 9 pounds in two weeks becoming a food nazi. no cruises for me any time soon.

Aren't most cruises like 4-7 days. How much weight can someone possibly gain in that time from indulging in some extras?!

I'm in Vegas right now and am surprised to see as many masks as ive seen here. The majority of people are not wearing them but a good percentage are. I have to say it's mostly Asians and old people but I'm seeing more here than in MA

Probably the easiest place in the country to spread germs. Think of how dirty the machines must be.

if 7 days you could gain 10 pounds easily maybe 12. Think of buffets. i know it sounds hard but your eating and not exercising or moving and drinking booze. Im willing to bet you could gain 12 pounds with the food and booze and lack of exercise. I ate a ton of fried clams one day and the scale said 6 pounds heavier.

Dental abscess. Surgery, let's say appendicitis or mastectomy. Suspected meningitis in a newborn. Medical and dental care is not optional, even and especially for high risk patients.
At a minimum, masking in health care should not have been abandoned.
