Maybe we should start an official Massachusetts traffic thread.

It took me two light cycles to make it through a light in my town yesterday at 5:30 pm. The apocalypse is upon us.

I don't know if we're in the middle of Grand Theft Auto or Death Race 2000 but it seems like I'm seeing an accident every two to three days. I saw it another one, it wasn't Highway related yesterday. I think he must have either pulled up to someone else too close or too fast or thought he could take a right to close car was leaking all over the place at a light.

I think we might see a spike in car insurance renewals. Great another thing going up in price.

Saw another accident (added 20 minutes extra going home). No one hurt but this is getting crazy. I'm thinking maybe we should have had a gradual reopening over 4-6 weeks instead of this.

Depends on whether you’re using the watered down Massachusetts metrics or not. If you look at the New York Times map by county, almost the whole state is still high risk. Hampshire County and Nantucket are moderate risk. Dukes is very high risk.

This makes zero sense. We're one of the leaders in terms of % vaccinated, and are down to 0.8% positivity rate. Are you looking at a wrong map, or misinterpreting the data somehow?
