I’m well aware of the fiscally painful nature of employee health costs. This is fair as long as they are surcharging obese employees, smokers, drinkers, those with unhealthy diets, etc.

Like I said, it’s a numerator vs denominator comprehension problem.

From today’s The New York Times numbers.

Louisiana is 1.33 deaths per day per 100,000
Mississippi is 1.27
Florida is 1.06

Massachusetts is 0.07 deaths per day per 100,000

They why the hell are they bringing the masks back? It's not about a virus but control. The massechusetts residents have stolkhome syndrome because the state is holding them captive with unnecessary restrictions and next the lockdowns will come.

there is a covid cult that many belong too in mass.

My and my family's health/safety is more important than the "feelings" of those who can't work at facility #1 because they refuse to get the shot for whatever reason. They can go work at facility #2 if they want, which likely has lower compensation, lesser working conditions and a higher chance of getting sick. That is how the free market works.
I agree with this to a point and yes absolutely a nursing home where everyone is vaccinated is going to be more desirable than not. But in a way i guess it does pry into people's personal lives. It's now frowned upon to judge employees who've committed crimes in the past and employers are expected to see past that. So now not getting vaccinated is basically worse than committing a robbery or a rape ? Kind of feels like that's where this is going.

Illogical comparison. The mere presence of someone who has committed a crime in the past is not a threat to public health.

I don't know why someone working in a health field would not get the vaccine. That's the real illogical thing here.

Because they belong to a tribe that rejects vaccination. Logic has nothing to do with it. If your family and community all reject vaccination, you likely will, too.

Most people I see who work in nursing homes aren't from this country.

My mother’s memory care place is mostly staffed by West Indians. Their tribe mostly rejects vaccination. The senior staff have been fighting the battle to get them all vaccinated since January.
