This is the end of Hurricane Zeta (Zeta is the 6th letter in the Greek alphabet FYI)

Yeah, exactly. Had Zeta passed to the west of us we would be having rain and much warmer temperature than usual, but unfortunately the hurricane is sucking air from Canada and smashing it right on our heads.

On my drive in early this morning, they were calling it a winter weather advisory.

I am in Fenway right now and I must say...it looks messy outside.

Definitely has picked up through the AM where I am. Was just wet roads this AM, now it's actually snow/slush covered. I have 2-3" sitting on my deck right now

It is a very heavy wet snow in North Attleborough. Starting to stick to paved surfaces in some places. My trees, still with most of their leaves, are very weighed down with some branches bending to touch the ground.

well...this storm definitely overachieved, vs. the predictions. Close to 4" here...(near Rt 3 & 128). Lucky that the leaves are weak/gone, so that this is not a power outage situation. The memories of Oct 2011 are still fresh in my mind.

It is actively snowing now, and I may die or melt or something. I'm not ready for this

4-5" here. I started to clear the driveway with a shovel, but then stopped and actually broke out the snowblower just to get through it quickly. Kids are out playing in it now making snowmen.

I thought this would be nothing more than a coating on the grass. I've got legit snow piles now in front of my house.

I don't mind early snow if it is accompanied with less snow in the later half of the traditional winter months. November and December already suck with shorter daylight hours, dying leaves and general dreariness.
