Not a fan of having a pool here, given how short the pool season is. But the pool looks nice.

I guess it depends if you consider 30-35 min drive to the TD garden and 10-15 min drive to Burlington mall area out of the way.

those times seem like par for the course for the "between 128 and 495" belt

it's certainly more central than carlisle, sudbury.

some areas of billerica the drive drops down below 30 min to downtown.

Maybe at midnight. Pre pandemic it'd probably take you 30 minutes just to get to 128 during commuting hours.

I wonder if this was a case of buyer's remorse? Looks like it sold in December 2021 and it's already for sale again? I've noticed quite a few properties in various towns where they just sold a year or less than a year ago and they're already for sale again.

In browsing recently solds, this one caught my eye in Duxbury. Sold in 2018 for $550K and it just sold yesterday for $1,010,000. It doesn't look like any major remodeling or upgrades were done except some modifications to the front porch area which enhance the curb appeal. If you compare the listing photos from 2018 to now, it looks like nothing more than paint and decent decorating was done inside. Not too shabby to get ~2X what you paid in a matter of ~4 years! https://www.redfin.com/MA/Duxbury/21.../home/16341935

I saw this one too. If you look on zillow it also sold in 2021 for 820k.

I don't really understand why someone bought it at 820k only to sell it so quickly but they made 190k... Chestnut st is a main rd that runs parallel to another main road (Tremont) with a good amount of traffic. On top of it being around 1500 sq feet it's hard to imagine why someone would pay $1,010,000 for it but this is the world we live in. It's close to shops and not too far from the beach but you'd still have to drive there. Schools are also good and it's a nice town...but 1million + for that kind of house is kind of sad.

Per the listing, there are 3 new bathrooms, and new kitchen, and refinished floors.

How does one see the photos from the previous listing?
