Do you regularly interact with Gen Z?
Some baby-boomers have forgotten how much conflict they had with the previous generations when they were in their teens and 20s.
I think the distance between baby-boomers and the previous generation is probably the largest in the history of (modern) generations.

Slow your roll. I think you are trying to paint with a broad brush. Generation Z are those born between 1997 and 2015. This puts the age group for Gen Z'ers in the range of 6-24 years old today.

Could someone tell the groups of kids that scream and play directly outside of my window for at least 2 hours a day during the school year and for several hours a day during the summer and after it snows that they are betraying their generation and they need to go inside? It disturbs my afternoon conference calls and post-work naps.

Well that's the point his characterization is of an age range, not a generation.

Gen Z are like millennials but more timid and more boring. They think a lot about feelings and safety. It's like dealing with young old people.

Don't like them even though I'm very close in age. Cannot get loose around them because they're so astoundingly socially awkward and put no effort into overcoming their personal challenges/shortcomings or developing social skills that translate to the public sphere. Because all their baggage is on their sleeves AND shared with you...it reneders them unapproachable-to me at least.

It's of course a generalization, but not without a lot of truth.

People do change as life experiences pile up.

As a 40-year old millennial I probably would hate the 22-year old Millennial I used to be.

I'm 42 so I guess I just missed being a millennial. I don't know how well I fit in with gen x.
