And as I wrote, even if the true number is 3x the official estimate, it's a tiny fraction of the city. I honestly can't believe that you're just asserting that over half the people are homeless, out of thin air - you've just decided that that's how many there are. If there were anywhere remotely close to that, they'd be all over the place, on all the sidewalks.
This is an estimated crowd of 40,000 who attended the Women's March in Austin, TX on Saturday, January 21st 2017. And of course, this is just a fraction of them, many of them are clearly off camera. Is this what you're saying Lawrence looks like in terms of the throngs of homeless???
When did I ever assert that over half the people in Lawrence are homeless? I said that the majority of people who live in Lawrence are certainly not homeowners.

Improve your syntax.
Syntax-
the arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language.
The portion of Lawrence's population that are homeless are obviously not homeowners. They are living in encampments or maybe some even live in cars. Also, I'm sure there are some that live in transient housing (not homeowners) and I'm sure a large percentage of Lawrence's population are renters (not homeowners).
I agree that MA does need more jobs that aren't just for science, engineering, finance advanced degree folks. I think companies did a disservice when they took away lower skilled positions but they were only thinking of their bottom line.
The majority of people crossing the southern border won't ever have a chance to work at a corporate office in this area
It's the exact kind of hyperbole that leads to people fearing invading caravans of criminals, and "open" borders.
You must be ok with having an influx of even more unskilled workers, smuggling, people not willing to integrate themselves into society, overburdened public services and the list goes on. Oh wait, we already have all these issues here. So is it safe to assume you like the status quo?
