Well for one, we don't have the infrastructure to support more people on the roads. Route 3 is a two lane highway and building clusters of housing units in an airstrip in Weymouth will contribute to an already soul sucking commute for many on the worst stretch of highway in the state.

All of which the state should be addressing. Should have decades ago.

We do need more. If you don’t have an influx of people that rap of wisely/disabled to working population gets out of whack. It would strain support systems and decrease innovation. The only state with declining populations tend to be poorly run. MA birth rate is below replacement levels. Population loss often leads to reductions in services and amenities and even maintenance.

Ghetto dwellers can’t really be displaced anywhere since they have minimal skills or connections outside of their hood. They also don’t own their homes so they can’t cash out and sell. They have no savings because rent is so expensive.

^This is what people like you and mrsB want, and it’s what you contribute to
Where there is land available for more housing to be built in MA is not where the majority of folks want to live. There is very little, if any, land left in Eastern MA to build enough housing that would make a dent in the problem. I doubt private property owners are going to gladly hand over their extra acre of woods so that Mr.Developer can clear it and build a new affordable unit.

Not that hard to widen a road. My father worked on adding lanes to 128 recently. Took some time but it got done. Should’ve been done long ago. Commuteraik should’ve been electrified in the 1980s and 1990s.

Apparently it is hard to widen a road.....route 3 could have benefited from widening a long time ago. Why hasn't it been done yet ?

Why are you so obsessed with more people moving here and putting more cars on roads, crowding everything? It's very bizarre.

Seems like you're obsessed with whites becoming the minority fast.
