I miss the proximity to fine hospitals that I had when living in the area. (Now in SW Colorado)

Recently I had a referral to a specialist for an ongoing problem and had to fly to Denver for the appointment (one hour flight, 7 hour drive in the winter).

The area hospitals besides downtown Boston are also very good. I think of Emerson in Concord for one.

I have heard that meds can change a person and make them not feel anything. Not the first time I've heard this. Killing is a different level than not feeling anything

Becoming a parent can change someone. Some people change for the better, others become more anxious and worried. I've certainly changed since becoming a parent. I used to be more fun for sure.

So who is the blame in this......everyone in this mothers family, including her husband knew how sick she was.
Wasn`t it up to them to protect these kids?. She was mentally ill. They were the ones with a clear head, that should of taken charge.

I agree that it seems like they needed more support but no one seems to know what was happening there. Perhaps Lindsay and her husband weren't honest with their family members about the magnitude of her mental issues. As we know there is still much stigma and embarrassment for many to admit they or a loved one are having mental issues. Most people also don't think it's going to end with someone killing someone. Just awful.

There isn't always someone or something to blame.

For once I agree with you. I do however blame the mother for killing her kids.

Her parents live in Connecticut. Who knows what they were told. I understand they'd been for a visit shortly before the murders so they'll be witnesses when it goes to trial.

We don't know that she was mentally ill.

She did the deed. She is to blame. News coverage showed two older women identified as family, placing flowers at the house and saying how wonderful she was. They seemed to have no knowledge of any issues.

So you do not think mental illness is real?
