I know we live in the sunshine state and all but - shisch! Cold all week last week, cold all week this week. And guess what the Weather Channel has in store for us folk living in this tropical paradise for next week-yup cold again! Its 73 in my apartment and in the summer my a/c can't get my apt this temp. I remember 10 years ago the winters were 75-80 degrees all winter long Bring back the humidity I say!!!

Where can I get a good electric heater? Or electric blanket? Or should I go back to wearing my coat around the house like we used to up north because of the price of heating oil?

I live in Seattle. So I know a little about cold weather. What I do when it is cold is take a nice warm/hot shower. Hot tubs work good too. Also, drink some warm coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Eat some warm soup. Get a beanie cap to wear. Heat escapes through your head. So wear one on your head and it will help to not only keep your head warm but also your entire body warmer. If all of this does not work then you should just move to Honolulu, Hawaii. Lol. Our day time high tomorrow is going to be 51 degrees. Next week it's going to dip down into the 30's at night. I would much rather be in Miami right now! So don't feel bad about being in South Florida right now.

Cold weather in Miami? I hope so, it's been December for 8 days now and there's been nothing but sun.

Clear as crystal outside and the air is nice and crisp. Damn fine weather if you ask me.

(though it may rain tomorrow...)
