Fight at Five Guys in Miami Beach Caught on Camera | NBC 6 South Florida

As I resident for 5 years till mid this year I've slowly seen ocean and Washington go to the wolves. I think the only way to fix the issue is remove curb side and drinking on the beach and turn it into a restaurant only set up. No curb side bar/clubs and actually enforce the no drinking on the beach. Vegas has 10 X the tourists and 1/10th the problem. We either clean up sobe internally or continue to push tourists away and residents out of town with this "ghetto" culture on ocean dr. Ppl came to our city for the glitz and glamour now all they see if drunken disorder. Opinions??

I hear its bad in Ft Liquordale. It'll be hard to enforce. They'll just put it in a water bottle. Its probably more of a drug problem. I just got told all about flakka or whatever. Its drain cleaner with sugar. Two guys got robbed at the tri rail station. Said downtown Ft L is night of the living dead, zombies.

Careful what you wish for. Right now it's concentrated in the beach area. If you ban/crack down on drinking on the beach it will move inland just like it did here. The Police Chief called it in advance it would happen that way.

I agree. Of course I don't want this to move inland, but I don't think it will either. Sobe as it is now is being marketed as this wild kind of place, a free for all basically. Any kind of madness or debauchery can happen so come on down for the show! It needs to stop. Crack down on the hours (parties until the morning fuel this madness), no outside drinking (in time you'll curb it, even if some try and skirt around the law) and have zero tolerance for drunken/disorderly behavior and fighting. And lastly, end the insanity that is urban beach weekend or whatever that is feeling this perception year after year.

Every one of the hostels in South Beach advertises itself as a drinking scene. There's even one called Bed n Drinks. Thats 100 young (21+) backpackers in each one. The reviews all complain about the loud music all night long, the vomiting in the bathrooms. They sell drinks on premises as a money maker. Same with the normal hotels.

FLL beaches are so tame compared to south beach. its a ghost town by 10pm. you dont see that ghetto urban culture over running the side walks.

There was a girl in a g string showering by the ocean and I was all 'She's advertising.' Most of the men loved it, thats why they love Miami. Its most definitely a Latin thing. So its not going to get better. But they should shut it down because she's going to cause a car accident.
