I am thinking about visiting south beach. Are there any restrictions/quarantine for out of state visitors either by state or city. Not sure if there are restrictions by hotel.

What can I do these days? I am coming to primarily chill out at beach. There has been so many changes and it is very difficult to keep. Google research show up all old and new articles.

What is good source for any COVID related restrictions for visitors?

Was just there a week ago. Most of the places are open, the Beachside bars and diners have outside seating in the street, so the road is blocked off, and the hours reduced hours. Not much going on after 10 pm.

Beaches and Day stuff is all a Green Light though. They say wear masks and distance and I did, but this is Florida and people are defiant so proceed with caution.

I'd skip South Beach at this point. It's just gotten so crappy it is no longer fun. Midtown, Brickell, Design District, Wynwood (sketchy also), Coral Gables, Coconut Grove are all so much better.

I would not go to South Beach. There's better places as Blueherons mentioned

basing oneself in Brickell or Coconut Grove would give you access to Key Biscayne as an alternative and more relaxing beach option--though a car would be recommended.....they opened an Enterprise Rental location inside the JW Marriott on Brickell Avenue so you could just walk over if you stayed in Brickell and rent a car the morning of the day you wish to hit Key Biscayne and drop it back off before closing (might be 6PM) to avoid overnight parking hotel charges if that makes a difference....most other places (Grove, Design District, etc) you could simply Uber (and not have to hassle with street parking and payments, either).

and I tend to agree with Blueherons about Wynwood being a tad sketchy (heck, even Mary Brickell Village--but not all of Brickell--is trending in that direction).

What time is last call currently for bars in South Beach? I read midnight somewhere, but I don't know if that's true.

During Covid, bars close at Midnight. It's usually 5AM.

Yeah? I was in South Beach two years ago, I liked it. I thought about going back there soon. Have things really gone downhill there since then?

I wouldn't go anywhere near Sobe in it's current state. My friends that still live in Miami will not go as well
