I bet you're glad you got those Continentals!

I heard about all the highway problems this morning. I'm only taking surface steets until winter passes. I know I'll be okay, but there's too many people out there that can slam into me.

There's a blue Cavelier that's smashed from behind and rammed into the Civic parked in front of it on Prospect, and it's been sitting like that for two days. Pretty obvious someone will be coming back from vacation to a nasty surprise. This town has waaaay too many hit and runs.

I will add this little caveat, if you live in the city or mainly commute in Milwaukee County you don't "need" winter tires but if you do any kind of rural or rural suburban driving you may want some.

You only don't need the right tires for the job if you want to pay out a deductable. It's not a matter of if--only when. Someone will hit you if you can't move out of their way.

Winter tires won't necessarily save you from that though!

Definitely not, but boy do they help. Worth the investment. They'll pay for themselves more than once over in one season.
