I walked outside today and saw a patch of grass. Of course, it was where normally gets shoveled, so there was only a thin layer of snow on top....but still. GRASS people! lol I felt ridiculous how excited I got.

Currently 45 degrees !!!!!

Another 2 or 3 big snowfalls are to come. And with it being el nina, don't count out cooler temps too.

Let us have our delusions......
It's the only way to survive until spring actually gets here without going insane!

Remember when we were kids? A puddle of melted snow was for stomping in.

I'm 100 miles southwestish of the Canadian border....so not WAY up north, but pretty close I'd settle for officially spring at this point. Looked at the ten day forecast and there's some twenties and teens thrown in, with one night getting -2. Argh. Few more days of high thirties/forties before that happens though, so not complaining.

I just goggled your town, to me that is way up north. Anything north of St. Cloud I consider Northern Minnesota.
At least your not in Manitoba

No sub-zero lows predicted here thank goodness!

I was just thinking about this today--I loved walking home from school and the light crust of ice on the gutters but hearing the water rushing down the hill under that and breaking the ice off the edge and watch it float down the hill.

We have green stuff showing in the part of our yard that we have to shovel out a bit for the dog Same with the areas right by the driveway and sidewalks.

Predicted high Thursday 50!!
