Sorry but I have never been to the gulf. Are there places where people windsurf in MIss? If so, where and are there marinas where we could store a windsurfer?

Back when I lived in Ocean Springs, I occasionally saw people windsurfing at East Beach, so there is some activity.

There are yacht clubs up and down the Coast. Try Bay-Waveland, Pass Christian, Gulfport, or Ocean Springs Yacht Clubs. This is an ideal place for sailing so one would assume the same would apply to windsurfing. The Mississippi coastline has several bays which feed into the Mississippi Sound (saltwater, with some river water mixed in, very shallow with fewer waves) which feeds into the actual Gulf of Mexico on the south side of the barrier islands about 8 miles offshore (Ship, Cat, Horn, and Petit Bois Islands). So there are numerous different environments to choose from.
