Mobile should look into recruiting a TopGolf. It would be a great tourist attraction and fun for the locals.

We're getting another salvage store....Salvage World is moving into the former Greer's/Food World on Government Blvd...

They have two other locations in Gulfport and Hattiesburg. Very similar to Dirt Cheap, except the merchandise is more diverse. Lots of tools and furniture.

A few updates...

Longhorn appears to finally be open for business again!

...and they finally tore down the building where the new Bojangles' Chicken will go on Dauphin Street.

Hopefully not the same franchise owner who has the Bojangles in Montgomery. They abruptly closed all their locations because of finances.

Correction...

Longhorn is opening on February 13th. They have a banner on the street with the date.

That would make it almost a year to the day it caught fire.

The Bojangles franchise is out of Gautier, MS and it's supposedly their first store of several in our area. Given how we are the fringe and news of Bojangles' trouble up 65..as well as the time it's taken to start construction could be a sign of things to come...
