In the case of a typical delivery to the airlines, the airlines come to Mobile to pick them up and take them to one of their hubs for introduction to service.

The international flights spoken about here are internal Airbus flights to/from Mobile and Montreal. These will occur once per week - BFM to YMX - and carry passengers/staff between Mobile and Montreal.

I think there should be a room in the terminal to serve as a museum for Brookley AFB, which was once Mobile’s largest employer. And a former Air Force cargo aircraft on display by the main entrance.

It was widely believed the Johnson administration closed Brookley in retaliation for Alabama voting for Goldwater in 1964. But Mississippi voted for Goldwater, too, and none of its military installations were closed.

From what I was told the locals at the time didn't like how friendy the Senators wife was to Black Americans. And they boldly told her how they felt about it and the result was the shutting down of Brookley.
