Oh and teen movies. I think American Graffiti set the trend.

You don't really see coming-of-age teen type films often any more (I wonder how it fell out of favour/fashion).

It's the kind popular in the '80s like Sixteen Candles, Fast Times at Ridgemont High etc., right?

About 90% of the films made in the last third of a century.

Vampire movies

Superhero Movies

2 part movies/multiple sequels

Animated movies that have the same general premise rehashed with different characters (I'm looking at you Disney and Pixar)

Satires. Aside from maybe Dr Strangelove these kind of movies bore me. I get the joke after about ten minutes and there simply aren't enough laughs to keep these movies interesting for two hours.

Boring?
Gangster movies. *snore*
Political/spy thrillers. *snore*
Stuff where old people fall in love.
All that artsy fartsy stuff...look, I can appreciate something is well-made and well-acted, but it is STILL boring as hell.
Slapstick comedies.
Most romantic comedies.
Most action movies (predictable and predictable)

There are exceptions to all of these, but for the most part, MOST MOVIES are boring these days.

Science fiction. As I stated in another post, science fiction is about the laziest genre of all.
