The following scene of the Warriors always gives me a warm fuzzy religious feelin' cauz I always thought Cyrus resembled Jesus if Jesus was a gangmember or a socialist:
Quote:
[At the big conclave/street gang meeting, Cyrus, the boss of the street gang appears]
Cyrus: [yelling] Can you count, suckers? I say, the future is ours... if you can count!
[a couple of soldiers cheer for Cyrus]
Cyrus:Now, look what we have here before us. We got the Saracens sitting next to the Jones Street Boys. We've got the Moonrunners right by the Van Cortlandt Rangers. Nobody is wasting nobody. That... is a miracle. And miracles is the way things ought to be.
[Few more soldiers cheering for Cyrus]
Cyrus: You're standing right now with nine delegates from 100 gangs. And there's over a hundred more. That's 20,000 hardcore members. Forty-thousand, counting affiliates, and twenty-thousand more, not organized, but ready to fight: 60,000 soldiers! Now, there ain't but 20,000 police in the whole town. Can you dig it?
Gang Members: Yeah.
Cyrus: Can you dig it?
Gang Members: Yeah!
Cyrus: Can you dig it?
Gang Members: YEAH!
[shouting and Cheering]
The Warriors
Of course, like a true messiah, Cyrus gets shot and dies after delivering his message.

I find this one truly hilarious on so many different levels:
Quote:
a Wong gang member [states as a warning to the Wanderers]: Don't f*ck with The Wongs.
Joey: Twenty seven guys with the last name "Wong' all know Jujitsu and kill you with one judo chop.

The Wanderers

Veda: With this money I can get away from you. From you and your chickens and your pies and your kitchens and everything that smells of grease. I can get away from this shack with its cheap furniture. And this town and its dollar days, and its women that wear uniforms and its men that wear overalls.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Veda: You think just because you made a little money you can get a new hairdo and some expensive clothes and turn yourself into a lady. But you can't, because you'll never be anything but a common frump whose father lived over a grocery store and whose mother took in washing.

Mildred: Get out. Get your things out of this house before i throw them into the street and you with them. Get out before I kill you!

YES! I mean, that would have been dreadfully recherche, n'est-ce pas?"

Monte: You know, Mildred, in the spring, a young man's fancy lightly turns to what he's been thinking about all winter.
Mildred: It's a good thing California winters are so short.
