The writer of this article is incredibly rude. Why not just let people have their theories? Why do so many people today think that they're right and everyone else is wrong and that their opinion is the only one that matters? I don't know if the conspiracy theory is right or wrong - I have no proof either way. My gut tells me though that it's a hoax of some sort. But do I automatically assume I'm right? The answer is an emphatic no. Just as I would NEVER tell some one that believes differently than myself (on any subject) is dim-witted or an idiot. Sheesh.... people today
All I know is I heard the movie is garbage (not surprising considering it's a couple of untalented dweebs - Rogen and Franco). Not funny AT ALL.
Do I know for sure or can I prove for sure it was a hoax? Nobody could prove that without being inside the stunt. But I wouldn't for a second put it past Hollywood trash to pull such a move.
Good grief man, the president of the United States was making statements on this (purportedly) piece of stupidness.
There really is no lying in the statement there is no such thing as bad publicity.
Check on line As more and more experts investigate, there is more evidence that the hacking was an inside job. And most of the reviews say that the movie is awful. One said that the worst torture was sitting through the movie.

Well, rottentomatoes compiled 48 movie reviews and exactly half were bad. The Interview - Rotten Tomatoes
so far it's a 50% rating from critics and 69% from the audience.
I saw the movie last night and give it 5 out of 10 stars. There were some laugh outloud moments but overall it's a pretty juvenile affair (but a step above an Adam Sandler production). I wouldn't pay to see it in the theaters, however. $6 is about right for this mediocre movie.
The movie is quite possibly the biggest tird since Ishtar. To get it produced, Rogen must have blackmailed a Sony exec after walking into the exec's office while he was in flagrant delicto with a goat. No other way this floater could've gotten filmed. Rogen, Franco, Sandler and Jack Black are all no-talent frat boys who are in the movies only because of their connection to hollywood moguls.
One subtext to North Korea's anger is that Sony is a proxy for Japan; there is still a lot of hatred in both Koreas over Japanese atrocities committed against the Korean people during WW-2, so the hacking and outing of Sony's data also could be some payback by N.K.

My family and I watched it today and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. There were some good laughs in it it but a lot seemed forced and just played out. Were the laughs worth the price of admission (YouTube)? I suppose so. Would I have paid $8 per person x 6 to see it? Absolutely not. I'll probably get about 6 beers deep tomorrow and watch it again just to get my money's worth, but I'm glad I didn't pony up $15 to buy it. If you have a crowd that wants to watch it, and you have a smart TV, go for it. It's $6. Certainly not a huge cost to see it. But, after watching it, I almost feel like the inside-job theory has some credibility. It wasn't really that good.
My rating: 5/10. I'd rather watch PCU or Animal House again (for the 79th time).
When the movie was pre-screened to the critics, the movie critics panned the movie as a stupid movie. Sony upon knowing they were going to get bad reviews and ratings decided to turn a loser into a publicity stunt to at least break even.
My theory .
