A full-on reboot? I wasn't expecting that. I knew Van Damme would be have the role of guru-trainer.

Looks like the trailer gives away the new Kurt Sloane's elbow strike to the head. That'll definitely be the tide changer in the final fight.

I'll watch it, anyway. I love the original movie.

Looks like Tong Po goes from a mysterious, evil villain to more of a thug type. I will miss the drunk dance/fight scene from the bar that was such a great, if not silly scene from the original. Sadly it was Darren Shalavi's last film also. I am interested to see it and I still think Dave Bautista will be a good bad guy.
