A good 80s sci fi flick for a get away with a lovable leading man......of the 4 legged gang! Personally, I am not a fan of houses packed together like sardines but they do have an advantage. If something very nasty is after you, they make a great escape path. Aside from the fact that Smokey the Bear might be upset, it is a nice family movie.......with famous people before they were stars in minor roles. An 8.5.
Typical private detective movie... Mel Gibson is a chronically drunk TV star, accused of murdering his wife. His manager hires a broken down ex-cop to help clear Gibson of the high profile murder. Not great, but not bad. Lots of private eye memes.. On Hulu.
Took grandson to see new “Puss in Boots’ animated w/Antonio Bandaras, Selma Hayek and some others
Good show—we didn’t see 3D version but seems like there are plenty of scenes to take advantage of that design
Thought it was little long but plot was developed
Bears and Goldilocks were good
The wife and I saw "Avatar: The Way of Water" yesterday in 3D. We were both fans of the first Avatar, and enjoyed it. We both thought this second installation of the franchise was disappointing. It was entertaining, and the visuals were incredible but the plot was just lame, with holes so big a Tulkun could swim through them. It was cool to see all the new mech/hardware that the humans had, which I would love to see more of. When the third one comes out though, I think we will just wait to stream it.
A world-weary detective is hired to investigate the murder of a West Point cadet. Stymied by the cadets' code of silence, he enlists one of their own to help unravel the case - a young man the world would come to know as Edgar Allan Poe.

A mystery crime thriller with quite a twist.
I have read several reviews of this and most are not very positive
I enjoy Bale in almost everything he has done so will likely give this a try
Tried the novel but didn’t finish it
Watched a real no-brainer last night
