"View To A Kill" by Duran Duran. Great tune.

Goldfinger is the best - hard to argue any others are better:

"Golden words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can't disguise what you fear,
For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her,
It's the kiss of death from

Mist-ah Goldfinger'

I too like Nancy Sinatra's You Only Live Twice - the lyrics are meaningful to me beyond the film (even though my late cousin and I spent all day at the theater watching it over and over when it premiered).

I like A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, For Your Eyes Only, Live and Let Die and the ubiquitous The Spy Who Loved Me. And Rita Coolidge singing All Time High, the theme from the deliciously campy Octopussy: "I don't want to waste a waking moment; I don't want to sleep.
I'm in so strong and so deep, and so are you."

Thumbs up Best OO7 Theme?

I was just singing (acting goofy alone in the house) the "Goldfinger" theme; I was pretty good doing the sexy brass, horns at the intro, then the nasal-talented Shirley Bassey doing the lyrics, etc.....

GOLDFINGER was my fav. the most hated was the one Paul McCartney did? and Wings, which one? "Live and Let Die"...Just didn't like that one.

Considered by many to be the worst Bond movie, but the theme song is one of the best.

I think one's favorite has a lot to do with their age. These are mine (in no prticular order).

For Your Eyes Only is one of my favorite Bond films, but after that, the series went downhill very, very fast. It didn't really recover until Brosnan came in.

But unlike many, I never blamed Timothy Dalton. A bad movie is rarely an actor's fault. The Bond scripts in the mid to late '80s were just so awful. No actor could have saved them.
