I think anyone would agree with that statement. Depp undeniably has the talent to play such a vast array of roles. He was amazing back in the day with A Nightmare on Elm Street, all the way to Finding Neverland and Sweeney Todd!

I agree with you. He really does. He is no joke when it comes to playing those characters.
I like actors that are versatile.
Yea, Depp is just on a level on his own with the greats. I put him up there with Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Bruce Willis...they can all conquer comedy, action AND adventure!
When you take a look at the toy version of The Mad Hatter and the photo of Johnny Depp in character the resemblance between the two is uncanny. I must commend the costume artist who brought the character to life. The costume and makeup is just perfect in my opinion.
The author of Alice In Wonderland (Lewis Carroll aka the Reverand Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) is the first recognized child pornographer (he liked to "photograph" little children) and much of AIW was written during his experimental phases with various "chemicals".
That's all speculation. I did a huge research project and presentation on this very topic (the rumors) in my undergrad critical theory class. None of it was ever proven, but he does appear to be some kind of weirdo. There were actually a lot of reasonable explanations linked to the Victorian ages for some of the stranger events in the film.
Johnny Depp is a top actor. The only show he ever made I really didn't want to watch was Charlie and the chocolate factory. I never liked the first one and didn't see the remake. How ever I am a huge fan of his.
The only movie he made that really didn't fit him was Sweeney Todd however he did get his start in the horror movies so it shouldn't of. He did do Sleepy Hollow which was kind of a scary movie but he didn't realy play a scary part.
I love Tim Burton movies so can't wait for it to come out and look forward to seeing The Mad Hatter.

I think Tim Burton/Johnny Depp and Danny Elfman are like the terrific trio. I love their work
Agreed! That is a talented trio that no one can deny! Did anyone see that Johnny Depp actually accepted the award for "Most Anticipated Fantasy Film" presented at the Spike Scream Awards? That is saying a lot for Alice in Wonderland! We are really in for something special.
Newest image that was released yesterday! Does anyone else think it looks so flawless...almost like a painting? They should be releasing two more images soon. I can't wait!
