Aberdeen (2000): A Swedish drama directed by Hans Petter Moland, starring Stellan Skarsgård, Lena Headey and Charlotte Rampling.

Stupid non-story with lots of disgusting behavior by pathetic characters.

Bullitt is the last movie i saw..

Excellent movie!!!!

I just got the VHS tape and the CAR CHASE is even better in ANALOGUE than it is watching it online!! (No surprise there) -- The sound is richer and just more pleasant....

Analogue is the best!!!! -- BEST PICTURE,BEST SOUND!!! (Especially in SP mode)

I was introduced to the movie BULLITT a couple years ago when i discovered this clip of the car chase in that movie!

http://www.hotrodsandclassics.com/Fu...os/Bullitt.wmv

Excellent and BEST CAR CHASE ever!! (And the whole movie is amazing) -- AND IN ANALOGUE ITS SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! (Boy stuff was so good back then!)

"Sommersby" starring Richard Gere. On a scale of 1 - 10 I'd give it a 6.5.

That's about how I would rate Richard Gere, though it might be a bit high.... IMO, he's never been an actual presence on the screen, but more of a foil for a leading lady -- one, in particular.

I'm watching Win Win right now on HBO On Demand. Never heard of it but IMBD and RT give it tons of stars. And I can see why so far. Really like the cast. Good story. Although sort of f'ed up the way he uses the Grandpop and kid to keep his life afloat. The main character is a good guy who seems like a good guy while he's doing it but its the wrong thing to do. Hope it has a happy ending.
Anyway, I recommend it.

I am watching Samuel Becket's "Waiting for Godot" and it is definitely NOT mindless entertainment. It is one movie (actually a theater performance made into a movie) that I think I could watch over and over, and over again -- and get something new each time.

A really poor (yet again) American interpretation of a great foreign film, The Return of Martin Guerre.

2 rentals, The Dictator and Get the Gringo. The Dictator wasn't too bad but SBC's style is very similar to Adam Sandler's only more on the gross side and that type of humor gets old unless you are under 20.

Get the Gringo was surprisingly good. Had really interesting visuals and characters, Mel is awesome as usual. If you are a fan, you should check it out.

Solomon Kane (2009) - Entertaining. I didn't have high expectations, but the movie turned out better than I thought.
