Robert Plant wrote a song for his solo album called Sixes and Sevens. I never really paid attention to the tile and even wondered about it. A psychiatrist friend of mine often uses the terminology with his patients who are bipolar "1's and 10's, 6's and 7's. People who are afflicted with it are comfortable with 1's and 10's (the extremes) but can't handle something in the middle such as 6's and 7's.
