I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of the passing of David Bowie. I first saw the news on David Bowie's Facebook page, but then some people were talking about how it was a "hoax." But, an hour later, I saw many major news stream sharing the news of his passing as being real. I grew up with his music. Probably one of the most iconic artist of our generation. I felt with his passing that a part of my youth has also passed away. This is a very huge loss in the world of music. RIP David Bowie.
I don't believe we have ever had a thread on David Bowie, or if we had I've missed it. For some reason, David Bowie does not get mentioned a lot on this forum, but you can't deny he has had an illustrious career. It goes back to the mid-60's as a matter of fact, as his earliest recordings were on Decca and Mercury. And in England, on the Pye label as well.
Ok, what is your favorite David Bowie song? Album? Ever see him in concert?
I loved him more than life
Its almost 4am and i still cant recover, cant stop thinking about him.
His music sounding non stop in my head.
Oh well, the world will never be the same now.
RIP
