Yes, absolutely both of these!

The PIT or Pawleys Island Tavern is one of the best places on the strand for live music.

Here's the listing for the free summer concert series at Plyer Park
See Free Concerts in Pryor Park along the Boardwalk

Tru Sol is great and Dorian is such a good guy. Mullets a Murrells Inlet staple. Ten Toes Up another great from the Inlet band. Tim Clark, has anyone ever seen him without his hat on?

A few other good local bands are WIDE OPEN and The AUSTIN MOWERY BAND.

Blueherons is correct... The PIT hosts a lot of "good" local talent.

Yes...I've seen him without his hat, as he put it on me once! He's pretty bald! But then, so are most of the men in my age bracket!!!

I have recently discovered a band called "Bullfrog" and they have been performing up & down the Grand Strand this year. I recommend checking them out if you like the Grateful Dead or Alice in Chains, and everything in between.

Went back to the Marlin last night to check out the Holiday Band, they were also very good although I think I liked Tim Clark better. Have to find this PIT place you guys have mentioned and see what they have to offer. Is it in Pawleys Island as I assume the name implies?

Yes it is in Pawleys and it is out back, not seen from Hwy 17, it will be on the right heading south, it's behind the Mole Hole Shop, it usually brings in a younger crowd.

Default Tim Clark in North Myrtle

The Tim Clark band will be at Duck's Beach Club tonight. Duck's is on Main Street, right side. Look for the chairs outside. There is usually a $10 cover for the guys...
