I would have to agree. State and local leaders are unwilling to provide funding for necessary infrastructure improvements to handle the growth. The antiquated pay as you go model is not working for the population. I am not opposed to dense development. I actually think it is socially responsible if coordinated with the necessary infrastructure improvements. The question is how do you balance the concerns of the residents while supporting economic growth? It would be nice to have a regional, more comprehensive plan that includes mass transit and more substantive infrastructure improvements. The current regional model is from 4 years ago:
