You sure were kind not to post the falling down pic! She much appreciated it, I heard!

Very nice photo.

They intertwine pine needles with silk to disguise themselves. They look like christmas tree ornaments.

That wasn't very nice of them! Tell 'em to get their own Christmas tree, besides it is NOT at all close to Christmas. Or maybe they were celebrating early?

They are still beautiful! Maybe still full of seeds for harvesting! I love sunflowers! I planted a row of them like a border all around the outside of my fence in Dallas. A gorgeous and nutritious flower.

I didn't know silk worms built their nests on evergreens. They do on mulberry trees.

I have observed no toads after recent rains. I think they all dried up and blew away.

The leaves are falling off of the thirsty trees. My ferns have dried up. Nearly all of the perennials have finished blooming. The heat is coming back for another week again. It's been a strange year.

I saw a bug I have never seen before. I was cleaning out closets and it was big, but friendly and a great color of course I sprayed him with bug spray, but I felt bad about it.

The Mockingbird who loves to come and take a poop on our solid white mailbox came by again today to deliver another round.

First time in my life---------------6 huge piles of leaves ( 3 big 30 gallon trash bags full ) from just one small area behind my house that has crushed rocks .

The severe drought here in the Ozarks has resulted in July leaf raking.

( we did get 1/2 inch of rain early this morning )
