I had a racoon and a 3' black snake (racer) watching me at work, right up very close to me.

A very mad Cardinal at my feeder.. I have a automatic bird camera that takes photos when it senses motion. It must make some sort of sound that irritates the bird.

The other day I was watering my newly planted tree in the backyard and left the garden hose with a small stream of water lying on ground near the tree base. After a while I noticed a new small Finch with its orange breast down at the end of the hose getting a “fresh drink of water”.

Cardinal is more likely to be startled than angry. Birds faces don't exactly lend themselves to facial expressions.

Beautiful cardinal! That does look like a scowling forehead!

Great pic, Tinman
Few yrs back, I saw a Loggerhead Shrike pierce the body of a dragonfly with that bill...then impale the df on a wooden fence...

Aw...you helped the little guy out, Aks... I would like to have a bird feeder with a drip feature or spray, apparently birds are attracted to moving water.

In summer, we set the garden sprinkler on during the day...on very warm days, the hummingbirds would fly back and forth in the spray...fun to watch...guess they got cooled off and a bath at the same time.
