Bluebirds even were going to my feeders, which I thought was unusual since I didn't know bluebirds ate seed! I'm wondering if the cold April we had this year had some effect? It sure killed a lot of branches on trees and shrubs around here.

We are still getting migrants here, heading north....

maybe everyone hasn't arrived yet at your place.

I've mentioned before how we have a camping lot, out in the country. (Located not too far from Meramec State Park, in Missouri.)

I like to keep track (so far, just in my head) of the different wildlife that I see. I almost always see SOMETHING of interest. This past Saturday was cool. I saw a bald eagle!

Our lot is on a lake, and I saw the eagle fly back and forth across the lake 3 times, and then it decided to perch in a tree for 15 or 20 minutes before flying off.

It's baby turtle season out our way. Have to keep an eye out for them, trying to cross the roads and highways.
