No problem.

I did it because it's a question often asked and the way many real estate offices put up listings just adds to the confusion of what is actually part of what and goes to which school.

I live in Mullica hill and in the area you are talking about. It's fine. The bypass reduced a lot of the traffic and we all know the back roads to get around the 322 issue.

As for radon gas..that is everywhere. When you get a house you can have it tested.

I also used to live in Bel air , md and I think the traffic there is much worse and the house we had there needed a mitigation system due to radon.

I am in the process of looking to buy a house in mullica hill. I am coming from philadelphia I have 2 younger children and want a nice safe area with good schools. I have read a lot of post but they are a little dated, and would like any opinion of the area. Are there any parts that are better then the other?

As you might have already read Mullica Hill has a radon problem. It has been designated a Tier One radon zone by the DEP due to the high incidence of unsafe elevated radon levels in the area and because of that all new construction for quite a awhile have been required to be built with a "passive" radon system by code. Surrounding towns like Swedesboro, Woolwich and Mickletown also have severe radon problems.....I use the term severe because your radon levels should be under 4.0 pCi/L and I was a NJ DEP radon specialist before retiring a short time ago and personally tested homes in those areas as high as 80 pCi/L. Elevated radon levels are relatively easy to correct but be sure you test any house you are considering purchasing.
