COLONIA! I was born and raised in Colonia. As an adult, I bought my house here and am raising a family here. It's a very nice town to live in. The parents can be a bit snobbish in the PTA's, but I'm not a "PTA" type parent anyway. Schools are very good, shopping is close by. Everything you want is within a 5 mile radius, including all major roadways and railways.
I love it here!

The Side of metuchen near central avenue is going to be the ideal place to live in town. you will be able to be near metuchen's new extention of down town. in about five years the entire strip of central avenue will be redeveloped like west field an all brand new down town. The food town developement should be started this summer. the old dodge dealer is in the works to be developed. So is the land near joey d's.

Default Metuchen

Metuchen hands down!
Train station, small town with rt 1, 27 running right thru Princeton.
Access to to turnpike, parkway, rt 9, 35 and 287 for escape in all directions. Stunning old style architecture scattered thru the town. It actually is a town in the classic sense as opposed to many other 'towns' such as Colonia which are just an area scattered with homes and strip malls.

Colonia is too landlocked, does have some ritzy sections. Don't get me wrong, Colonia would be considered prime real estate for some folks.
